Farrell House Lodge is located on the southwestern border of Sandusky, Ohio. Our address is 1104 Lima/Sandusky Road (also known as Fremont Ave.), Sandusky, Ohio, 44870. If you program our address into your GPS, beware. On the last leg of your journey, your GPS may instruct you to turn left onto US route 6 as you exit state route 2. This is incorrect! You need to exit right (west) towards Fremont, Ohio. Our driveway is the first drive on your left.
Our sign sits 40′ back from the road and is easily missed. It prominently says Sunnybrook Trout Club and in smaller letters says Farrell House Lodge.
Driving directions from Cleveland and points east – Take Interstate 90 west. One mile west of the Elyria (state route 57) exit, you will bear right onto Ohio state route 2 towards Sandusky, Ohio. Stay on Ohio state route 2 for approximately 35-40 minutes until you reach the Fremont/Sandusky (US route 6) exit 131. Exit onto US route 6 west (right) towards Fremont, Ohio, passing under the highway overpass. We are the first driveway on the left. If you are traveling from Cleveland on the Ohio turnpike, exit at Elyria (state route 57). Bear north (to the right) onto route 57. Go one mile and turn left onto state route 2 towards Lorain/Sandusky. Proceed on state route 2 as described above.
Driving directions from Toledo and points west – Take the Ohio turnpike east to the Fremont (state route 53) exit. Take route 53 north to state route 2. Turn right (east) onto state route 2 heading towards Cleveland/Sandusky. In approximately 7 – 8 minutes you will cross over Sandusky Bay on the Edison Memorial Bridge. We are the second exit, Fremont/Sandusky (US route 6) #131, after crossing the bridge. Exit onto US route 6 by turning right. We are the first driveway on your left, 500′ up the road.
