The farmhouse is a rustic retreat located on the southern portion of our property, 3/8 of a mile upstream from Farrell House Lodge. It was built in the 1880’s and underwent a total restoration in 2005. Great attention was given to preserve the original character of the home and is evident in the impeccable workmanship.
The first floor features a comfortable living room, spacious kitchen & dining area, laundry room, guest bathroom and a master bedroom with a queen bed and its own private bathroom.
The second floor has three additional bedrooms. One of the rooms has two twin beds, one has a queen, and the third has a double bed and a sleeper couch. The upstairs bathroom has an antique claw foot tub and a walk in shower (not visible in the photo). Breathtaking views of the property are visible through a large picture window. Wildlife is abundant on the property. Deer, eagles, mink, turkeys and waterfowl are common sights. One of Ohio’s largest oak trees is in our back yard.
The farmhouse rents for $450.00 per night with a two night minimum required. Each additional night is an additional $375.00. A reduced weekly rate of $2200.00 is available. Each additional night in excess of the weekly rate is $325.00. Maximum occupancy of the farmhouse is 8. Groups larger than 8 will be considered, but must have prior approval. A non refundable $200.00 deposit is required to reserve a two night rental and a $500.00 deposit is required to reserve a weekly rental, with the balance due at check in.
